Onex Inc. provides forge and reheat furnace solutions for industries including aerospace defense & many other heat intensive industries. We analyze upgrade retrofit and replace existing furnaces. We also specialize in combustion control panel manufacturing services. We manufacture precast for precast refractories of all sizes shapes and levels. Our services include project management refractory lining design & installations controlled dry-out capabilities furnace fabrication & assembly combustion control system design & installation services maintenance & tuning of combustion systems design & fabrication of unique precast shapes utilizing specialized mold technology and procurement of refractories. Onex History Onex began in 1965 as a supplier to the many foundries in the Erie, PA area. The original function of Onex was as a local stocking distributor of refractory products for major refractory manufacturers. Then, in the 1980’s, Onex branched out to serve the heat treating industries by becoming a “one stop shopping” source and a solutions provider for its growing extensive customer base. In 1992, our reach broadened even more as we started building furnaces under our Blue Diamond Brand. As the company continued to grow in Erie, it also expanded its geographical reach by establishing regional offices and warehouses in Pittsburgh. While the majority of our work is done within 4-5 hour radius of our regional offices, we have successfully completed projects across the entire United States, including Alaska, and have also subcontracted on international projects.
